On 23rd June 2025, at the prestigious annual Velvet Awards, The Snug in St Ives was crowned as the best pub/bar in the whole of Cambridgeshire!
The pub was up against two much larger Pubs, in Cambridge and Northstowe, but were deemed the best in class by the panel of independent judges.
The Snug have five beers on draught from independent local breweries that are rotated every week. There is a huge range of 46 different cocktails that includes a weekly specials board, a great range of wines and soft drinks. They also offer Cocktail Masterclasses, River Cruises, Monthly Live Music and various other events.
The judges loved the intimate space that that has been created at the Snug and were very impressed that the smallest pub in the county could deliver such a vast range of cocktails!
