Chamber Orchestra of St Ives

COSI was initially formed to give local players a chance to play together in a relaxed environment but we were soon in demand for performances. We give 2 main concerts a year, both at the Free Church, St.Ives, with works ranging from popular classics, debut compositions from local composers to lively ‘Last Night at the Proms’ style concerts. We also provide a platform for local soloists to perform concertos. Free Friday Lunchtime Concerts are put on six times a year to showcase local talent.

Rehearsals are generally on the first Thursday of every month 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM in the Free Church, St Ives

We are proud to form part of the community hub at the free church, supporting local people and providing a place for local musicians to showcase their work. We are looking to recruit new players and forge relationships with the local schools. We are a non-profit organisation. Any money we do make goes towards Free Church Charities
