Profile
More than three in five of us will become an unpaid carer at some point in our lifetime, often unexpectedly while supporting a family member or friend through illness, disability or old age. Caring Together is here to ensure no one has to face that role alone.
For more than 40 years, Caring Together has been a leading charity supporting carers of all ages across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk. Our vision is a world with no unpaid carer in crisis, isolated or struggling alone. You can join us in working to make this vision a reality for people who are looking after someone they care about.
If you are an unpaid carer, we are here to help you make your caring role more manageable, benefiting both you and the person you support.
We can provide:
- Expert advice available online, or from our advice line, free magazine, and email newsletter.
- Care in your home and community whether you need occasional help or every day.
- Emotional support including counselling.
- Specific support for children who are carers.
- Local carers’ hubs and groups.
- Breaks from looking after someone.
- Help to plan for the unexpected including back-up care from our expert care staff.
