Celebrate VE Day – 80 years of Peace (1945 – 2025) in St Ives on Thursday 8th May 2025

Join a celebration of music and community spirit as we mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day (VE Day)

Flag raising followed by a service celebrating 80 years of peace.

Hear the church bells ringing – in 1945 church bells tolled, marking the end of the war and heralding a new era of peace.

– Silhouettes of service personnel in the museum garden

– Special pop-up exhibition in the Community Room at the Norris Museum, The Broadway, St Ives PE27 5BX
