St Ives (Cambs) u3a

Our motto is “learn, laugh, live”. We are a local charity, and part of the wider national u3a movement. Our 900 members are no longer in full-time work and come together regularly to explore new ideas, skills and interests in over 50 groups – walking, dancing, table tennis, hobbies, crafts, languages, art, poetry, science, philosophy, as well as social events, outings and theatre trips – whatever our members decide to organise.

We hold monthly meetings with a speaker, at 2 pm on the second Thursday of the month at St Ives Corn Exchange. You are welcome to pop in and speak to a committee member or just come along and see for yourself.

Although many of our members are older and retired, you don’t need to be. We particularly welcome local people starting to think about retirement or part-time work, because there is so much you can contribute as well as enjoy.
