We appreciate, from time-to-time you may have questions relating to the website and/or adding a listing. On this page you will find the popular questions we get asked at The St Ives Hub. If your question is not listed below, you are welcome to complete our short form here on the website and we will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

Q: How can I add my business to the website?
To add your business to the website, please click here. This will take you to a dedicated page where you will need to firstly create an account by selecting the ‘REGISTER’ button. You will see a pop up form where you can register to the website. Once you have created your account, you will be able to log back into the site and start adding your business listing.

Q: What is the best way to contact someone from The St Ives Hub?
We would encourage you to complete our form on the website and a member of the team will be in touch with you at the earliest opportunity.

Q: My business is based in Huntingdon but we cover the St Ives area. Can we still list our business?
Unfortunately, the website will only permit business listings from those which have a physical address in the town of St Ives in Cambridgeshire.

Q: Who runs The St Ives Hub website?
The website is run by members of the St Ives Town Council and its trusted partners.

Q: I have a news story I would like to add to the website, how can I do this please?
Click on our ‘Get in Touch’ page here and submit your news story for approval. The website team will review the proposed news article and ensure it is appropriate for submission. This process is likely to take in the region of 2-3 working days.

Q: I’ve submitted my event but it’s not showing on the website. Where is it please?
Once you submitted your event, this will be placed in our approval queue by the website team. Please allow 2-3 working days for your event to be live.

Q: I would like to pay for a featured business listing. How much do you charge please?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for a paid feature. This website is free for businesses to list and for the community to access the information included.

Q: I need to make some changes to my listing. How do I do this?
When you first created an account, you would have registered your details to log back in to manage your listing. The link for this can be found in the top right corner of the website. You will also be able to change your password using the same link by clicking ‘forgot password?

Q: I’ve spotted something on the website which I think may be incorrect. How can I let you know?
Please complete our form on the ‘Get in Touch’ page of the website where a member of the team will review in due course.

Q: Is it possible to add a recurring event to the website?
Yes. When you submit your event listing, you will be given the opportunity to add recurring dates.

Q: I don’t have a logo for my business, what will show in its place?
During the listing approval process, our website team will attach a standard image using the first initial of your business/event name.

Q: We are looking to recruit a new member of staff. Can you help?
Yes. We are delighted to announce that our jobs board for St Ives will be operational at the end of the summer 2024.

Q: My business has two different categories. Does this mean I need to list my business twice?
Not at all. When you add your business listing, you will be offered a second business category to use.
