St Ives Womens Institute

St Ives WI was established more than 100 years ago and it remains a vibrant group of local women, who meet at 7.30 pm on the first Thursday in the month. In the Hall at the Free Church in St Ives. We love the opportunity to welcome visitors and new members. We have a regular programme of external speakers join us to inform and entertain members about a variety of subjects. We also love the opportunity to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere with our monthly coffee morning get togethers These are on the second Friday morning each month. Coffee morning venues vary between the Town centre locations and members homes. These coffee mornings also sit within our range of fund raising activities.

• The movement offers women of all ages and backgrounds a unique chance to come together and share experiences, tackling social isolation and building community cohesion.
• We support women to learn, develop new skills and achieve their goals throughout their lives, building confidence and improving physical and mental wellbeing.
• We empower women to use their voice individually and collectively to achieve real changes on the issues that matter to them.
