The Collaboration Choir

The Collaboration Choir is a fresh musical alternative for people who are passionate about popular music.

Come to one of our local community choirs and get inspired. Be nurtured, push boundaries and do something for yourself in a warm and welcoming space. The Collaboration Choir is the brainchild of Carrie Rawlings and her aim was to build a truly inclusive musical community which would have people’s well-being at it’s core. To deliver fun, informative singing sessions for adults in the local community. A place where people could learn new skills or improve them, feel empowered, grow in confidence, meet other like-minded individuals and give back to the community around them through fundraising performances and experiences.

The repertoire is pop music. The style of teaching detailed but fun. We listen and adapt so we navigate ways of learning which suit each group. Anything goes as we endeavour to make sure everyone feels included and looked after whilst honing their musical abilities to the highest standard. You don’t need to have sung before. You don’t need to have any experience. Just give yourself over to one of our amazingly talented Choir Directors and they’ll do the rest!
